Two peace poles donated by Japanese members of World Peace Prayer Society were brought to the Philippines through the efforts of Ms. Hagiwara & Mrs. Osanai...

Peacepole donation for Lanao

Mr. Okada, Byakko Shinko Kai member from Japan who has now retired and settled in Mindanao, Philippines donated the Peace Pole that was to be planted by the United Religions Initiative - Southeast Asia-Pacific (URI-SEAP) regional council as a gift to the Province Lanao del Norte for having been gracious in hosting the 2009 URI-SEAP Regional Assembly.

The Peace Pole was awarded by Okada-san at the Mindanao Civic Center, and was planted at the Provincial Hall in Tubod, Lanao del Norte.
